Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center (LA BioMed) is one of the largest independent, nonprofit biomedical research institutes in the country. It conducts biomedical research, trains young scientists and provides community services, including childhood immunization and nutrition assistance.
